NORTH ATTLEBORO, MA–Benchmark Senior Living earlier this month broke ground on its new concept, diversifying its portfolio of senior living communities. The Branches of North Attleboro marks the beginning of a new series of Assisted Living and Memory Care apartments aimed at addressing the wide range of needs for the value-smart consumer who is looking to get the best of what the industry has to offer, without breaking the bank.

President and COO, Stephanie Handelson, an 18-year veteran of the industry, is all too familiar with the challenges that many aging individuals and their families face, and is eager to address them in a respectful and dignified way.  “We have spent the last two years researching the unmet needs of the middle income market—understanding what matters most—so we could deliver the quality of care that Benchmark has come to be known for, at a price that more can afford.”  She says passionately, “Everyone deserves that.”

“The marketplace is changing, and we need to change with it,” said Tom Grape, Benchmark’s Founder, CEO, and a thought-leader in the industry for 20+ years. Speaking of his upcoming 20th Anniversary celebration, he notes, “We are about to celebrate an important milestone in Benchmark’s history, and are looking forward to marking it with the introduction of another example of our drive to set new standards of excellence for our seniors, through innovation and thoughtful design.”

Benchmark currently owns and/or operates 52 senior living communities in the Northeast, including The Commons in Lincoln, MA.  The Commons is Benchmark’s newest Continuing Care Retirement Community offering Independent and Assisted Living, as well as Memory Care and a state-of-the-art Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation facility—all on one beautifully landscaped campus.
